It’s back for 2024! It’s the UK’s biggest holiday park talent event, with an incredible range of prizes on offer. If you can sing, dance, make us laugh or even have a few tricks up your sleeve, then this is the show for you! 

Heats are due to get underway soon at breaks through May half term and the summer school holidays. Winners will be invited to the Grand Final at Cayton Bay Holiday Park in November this year, ready to be judged by our celebrity panel, including famous faces Duncan James and Kimberley Wyatt.

Competition Rules

  • Parkdean Resorts Standard and conditions of entry apply.
  • Entrants must be willing to attend rehearsals/registration prior to the competition taking place.
  • The duration of each performance must not exceed 5 minutes.
  • Each act will be responsible for their own props and instruments and must rehearse with these at the programmed rehearsal time.
  • Each act is responsible for their own music and the entertainments team are not responsible for any technical errors.
  • Any form of music device such as iPod etc, will remain the contestant’s responsibility at all times and the Ents team will not be responsible for any accidents.
  • Vocal acts are permitted to use backing tracks and must not sing over a fully sung version.
  • The rehearsed act must remain the same for the competition as it was in the rehearsal.
  • The highest scorer from each weekly heat will be invited to take part in the end of season park finals.
  • One winner will be invited to the Parkdean Resorts Talent Nation Grand Final Weekend, and if they are unable to attend the place will be offered to that particular parks Park Final runner up.
  • A panel of judges appointed by Parkdean Resorts will be used to judge each competition. They will mark on the following categories.
    • Presentation
    • Talent and Ability
    • Originality and content
  • The judge’s decision is final, and no discussion or correspondence will be entered into on that decision.

Standard Rules & Conditions of Entry

  1. All entrants must be resident at a Parkdean Resorts Holiday Park for a minimum of 3 consecutive nights and must have booked their holiday in the correct way.
  2. Entrants can only enter the competition held on the park on which they have booked their holiday and are staying at.
  3. Family and friends who are visiting a member of the entertainments team are not eligible to win a competition but may still take part for their own enjoyment.
  4. Competitors who win a weekly heat will not be permitted to enter a further weekly heat of the same competition that year on that particular park.
  5. Weekly heat winners are not necessarily eligible for the park finals, please check with the entertainments manager for full details.
  6. Winners of heats carrying finals will be responsible to ensure that the holiday is taken at the time of finals, and they make their own travel arrangements to and from the finals. Any holiday offered is to enable the winner to take part in the final and is neither transferable nor exchangeable for cash in part or whole and will not be changed to any other date or venue.
  7. Holiday prizes must be taken at the venue specified by Parkdean Resorts. This may be at a different location and type of centre to the weekly heat venue.
  8. Winners must be willing to be photographed after their success and the sponsors and/or Parkdean Resorts may use any such photographs for publicity.
  9. Park dean resorts and the sponsors’ liability to the Talent Nation Grand Final Winner shall be limited to the cash prize, if any. Under no circumstances will Parkdean Resorts be liable for any debts, obligations or expenses incurred by the entrant.
  10. Competitions will be scrutinized by the general manager or one of their delegated staff, and this person shall be the arbiter in all discussions on that competition and his/her word will be final and no correspondence can be allowed on that decision.
  11. Winners of the end of season Park Finals are not permitted to compete in another parks’ Final of the same competition during the same season. In addition, outright winners of the Talent Nation Grand Final are permitted to compete in that particular competition for the following year.
  12. One winner only of the end of season Park Finals will be invited to the Talent Nation Grand Final, in the event of a non-entry, Runners up will be given the option to attend and take part at the Talent Nation Grand Final.
  13. Parkdean Resorts Caravan Owners are permitted to enter the competition however any accommodation offered will be at the discretion of the GM and is subject to availability. The GM and Parkdean Resorts reserve the right to withdraw any accommodation offered to caravan owners for non-compliance of these rules.
  14. Parkdean Resorts have the right to disqualify any entrant for non-compliance with these rules.
  15. In the situation of a contestant using their own music, this must be vetted by the Entertainments Manager and must not contain any unsuitable language. The entertainment manager has the right to refuse the use of the track and advise that another track is to be used.
